‘Creating Opportunities’ Agenda announced for Connect Business 2018

We are delighted to announce the exciting program of speakers for Connect Business 2018 – all based on this year’s theme of ‘Creating Opportunities’. The event, now in its 8th year, will be officially opened on Thursday 20th Sept by Cheltenham Mayor, Bernard Fischer. We then start our program with an interview with Alex Chalk MP for Cheltenham who will be talking to a local journalist.

At 11.15 we will hear about the opportunities linked to Cheltenham’s new Cyber Hub. This is followed at 12.15 by Adam Starkey, Vice Chairman from GFirst (LEP)Local Enterprise Partnership.

In the afternoon at 2pm, our panel discussion – ‘Creating Opportunities’ – includes 4 speakers from a range of businesses and organisations showing Cheltenham’s broad business base. Simon Spooner is Operations Manager at Gloucestershire Services and Kevan Blackadder is Managing Director at Cheltenham BID (Business Improvement District). We also welcome Neil Daws, Divisional Director at Spirax Sarco and Martin Bundy, Managing Partner at the new John Lewis in Cheltenham. This final event of the day is chaired by Dr Debbie Smith, Helix PR.

To hear all our excellent speakers, book your free place now directly from this Connect Business website. If you plan to stay all day why not book the optional networking lunch for £8!
